Heats a single medium room really well. If you buy an outdoor fireplace don t forgot the fire pit accessories like a poker tool fire pit cover or patio heater cover. The heater puts out just the right amount of heat for the room size to take the chill off the air and warm the room slightly which is what i was hoping for. I bought this as a replacement for an old oil column heater.
